Haven Updates: June 18th, 2013

School is OUT for most by now, summer is beginning. Let the month of updates commence!




Due to LACK OF INTEREST by active members of the Haven, the HOMESTUCK section in the Roleplay category has been REMOVED. It has been replaced with an OFF section, as per demand.

The Nothingness has also been included in the Multiverse Roleplay section.

If there are any complaints or feedback about the board changes, please take it up with one of the admins.... Preferably me.




We have added a BADGES section! The badges sections will be expanded as more get made. Currently the section is limited. Each badge will be created by a site user. Some badges will be exclusive or otherwise hard to obtain, or retired after a set amount of time.
You will earn badges depending on your actions upon the site. Each badge will come with a name as well as a small description on what it is about and hints of how to earn it. Badges will be given by an admin and CAN BE REVOKED if the user proves not to deserve them.


On your mini-profile when you post, you might notice three counters. These are Gold, Silver, and Copper. You earn each at a set rate by posting in any section of the forum. As of right now, these have no real value other than to show how much you post. More values will be added later, or condense to one value. This will be called MONEH. Yes, with an H. Because we're cool like that.
The value rate is Gold = 5 moneh. Silver = 3 moneh. And Copper = 1 moneh. These are NOT the rate you earn them each post, though, so keep that in mind.
These WILL be linked to badges. There will, in the future, be badges linked to collecting so much moneh.





Still a WIP and editing, we've changed how quotes work. The code is the same, but the appearance will be different to make it easier to read and look much better.



It's not a huge change, but just a small little change of fun.



Now, how did I do that? That would be our next little fun bit. By typing #username in [These things] it will display the display name of whoever is reading the post. While it serves NO real use, it is good for story telling or something of the sort, if you so wish to delve into that.
